Hamilton Pool is natural pool created thousands years ago when the dome of underground river collapsed because of massive erosion. Nowadays this is a really attractive summer pool with small 50 foot high waterfall. It is located close to Austin, Texas.
Now the whole area around the poll and the waterfall is protected natural habitat called Hamilton Poll Reserve. The areal was used for filming location of several movies and music video clips.
If you visited the pool you should know that swimming is at your own risk, there are not any lifeguard. Also if more people wants to visit the reserve at same day, then a line of waiting is formed, usually it takes about an hour to get passed.
